Inspired by my paternal family history, "Little Hauntings" analyzes photography’s capacity to visualize metaphysical trauma. I portray how domestic abuse does not die within a single generation, but instead breeds trauma that may travel through a lineage.
How are the first generation descendants of cycle breakers still confronting the same ghosts as their ancestors, and is it possible to end the pain inflicted by patriarchal structures? This body of work is exploratory and ongoing.
